Retractable Barriers & Roller Shutters

It is very common to see fixed and permanently closed burglar bars installed at homes and apartment buildings.

Home owners and apartment building residents with these security features have thought only about burglars or intruders trying to gain access to their premises from outside. However we at SmartNet see this as the creation of another problem: “What if a fire breaks out in the premises blocking the main front doors?” or “What if an intruder gets access to the premises, through other means, how do you escape”?

We have addressed all of these challenges. And for these reasons, we strongly recommend our retractable barriers and burglar bars. Retractable security barriers can be installed on the exterior or interior of homes; in this way we assure that the aesthetics of houses are not negatively impacted by the installation of our security barrier solutions.

We can help our clients create safe havens and ensure a good night sleep, by isolating zones of the house from the sleeping quarters.

Our clients can choose between roller shutters or retractable burglar bars. Roller shutters can provide the following advantages:

  • Rollerstyle shutters help to provide great security in a neat, compact form
  • A good option to help secure homes as there is a choice of products for different applications
  • Permanent and holiday homes can be closed up with roller shutters when residents are away
  • Ideal for situations that require a blackout, such as multi-media in conference rooms
  • Helps to offer security for canteens, medical dispensaries and bar counters
  • Dual-function in applications where the roller shutters act as both walls and security, such as room dividers and retail outlets
  • Can be rolled up and out of sight when not needed
  • The choice of curtain ranges from solid panels to more open designs that allow light and air inside
  • When closed, the roller shutters help to block out the harsh summer sun and heat
  • Provides excellent insulation and noise reduction
  • Choose between manual and automated operation, including remote control

GSM Solutions

Home Alarm Systems

We have a variety of GSM alarm systems wired/wireless for home security solutions.

Our GSM solutions give you the peace of mind you need when you are away from your property.

The systems are comprised of features such as smoke detectors, motion detectors, door gap sensors, gas detectors, IR beams for outdoor zones, panic buttons, two sirens and stroboscopic lights for calling attention to the house.

The sensors are grouped into alarm zones varying from 4 to 16 independent alarms zones, giving the ability to select at any given point in time which alarm zones to be active or not.

Because the alarm kit is GSM, it does not depend on wired telecommunications cables which could allow for deactivation by simply cutting a cable. The GSM alarm system is independent an inaccessible from the exterior of the house.

GSM alarm systems can also be enhanced with GSM Signal Jammer detector for cases where there is risks that professional thieves may possess such technologies.

They can be configured to accommodate 5 or more numbers for notification either by SMS or voice call with a pre-recorded message that the alarm has been activated and identify the zone which has triggered the alarm.

Our GSM alarms enable the user to perform the following tasks remotely by simply using a mobile phone call or and SMS instruction:

  • Enable/Disable the alarm directly from the control panel strategically located in the house
  • Enable/Disable the Alarm by voice call and subsequent menu selection
  • Enable/Disable the Alarm by SMS commands
  • Call and listen-in to the noises inside the house
  • GSM Alarm systems call also act as a phone in case of emergencies

Alarm systems allow you to Detect, Deter and Defend from possible intrusions. That is why we at SmartNet recommend some of the best possible physical deterrence methods to our clients, alongside the electronic solutions we have. Ultimately, you need to add obstacles, increase the noise and have other possible means of detection and deterrence in place to stop a criminal.
